Floor Foods

Whoever decided that "table foods" was an appropriate term for when babies are introduced to self feeding is crazy. It doesn't stay on the table. Or the high chair tray. Or anywhere near a bib. It's anywhere it's not supposed to be.

The babies have been trying out some new things since their 9 month appointment a few days ago. Last night they tried some chicken and noodles for dinner. Camryn LOVED it. She shoveled it in (must get that from Mommy) and grunted for more. Gavin was a little more interested in figuring out how to disassemble the new suction cup bowl I got to make this self feeding thing a little more manageable on tiny fingers.

Once it was time to come out of the high chairs I found where most of the food I thought had been devoured had gone...they were sitting on it. This is where a benefit of having dogs comes in. All you have to do is push it all on the floor and *poof* it's gone. Good for them. Good for me. Can't go wrong.
On today's agenda: getting some food IN the babies mouths.
