In the swing of things...

It was a gorgeous day today...especially for August in NJ. We ate dinner on the deck and then we headed over to the park. The park is only a few years old and SO close to our house, but for some reason we never go. We had a lot of fun today, so something tells me we'll be back there soon.

G and C have been on the little swings we put in the yard for them, and Lord knows they loved the Fisher Price swing from birth (especially my dear Camryn)..but today we finally put them on a real life, at the park kind of baby swing. Being the germophobe that I am (although I SWEAR I'm getting better) I actually considered wiping off the swing before I put them in it. OK, so I have issues..but don't we all? At least I admit it. Ultimately we decided that would be friggin ridiculous and just put them in there. :)

I've seen a lot of twin Mom's take this picture and I've been wanting one myself..now I finally got it! Too bad the babies look like they are wondering why the Hell we would put them in that weird contraption.

Once we put them in their own swings they started to see we wouldn't steer them wrong. This swing IS fun Mom and Dad!

Note to self: An evening at the park=knocked out at bedtime. Do. This. Again.

How cute! And you're not crazy for thinking of wiping down the swing. Amelia kept trying to bite ours and I was flipping out! Love the shot of the two of them in there!
