We started a baby class at the local hospital a few weeks ago. It's for kids 12-18 months and they seem to really like it so far. We do a few songs, use the parachute, do bubbles, dance, etc. and then there are 2 free play times at the beginning and end. Most of the other kids are gravitating towards all of the toys that are out at the free play times. Mine like them for a few minutes and then (Gavin especially) look for trouble. I keep telling them that we could have just saved our money and gone into an empty conference room down the hall:) The biggest attraction for Gavin is the windows. They are low to the ground and have short sills they can easily sit on so it makes it waaaaay more fun than our boring windows at home.

They also like to climb under the table, dismantle the pile of exercise mats in the corner, try to take the parachute back out, take the plastic safety plugs out of the outlets, pull down the blinds and try to open the doors.
Exhibit A:

Gavin has a fondness for doors and even tried to close the teacher in the closet as she tried to put away toys. I guess I should watch my back at home! I can just see the fun of being trapped in the closet as they eat entire boxes of Cheerios and roam free.
Of course they also play with everything right along with everyone else...

Poor Gavin has a nice drool spot on his shirt from his crazy teething. He's getting both eye teeth. Those teeth and Spring cannot come soon enough!

I love this entry. You have captured the class "activities" so well. Gavin and Camryn are certainly curious little explorers. Are they cute and funny or what?! They sure look like they're having fun!
XOXOXOXO from Grandma
Looks like they enjoy the class. Sounds like a lot of fun.
They look SO grown up in these pics....esp C!!! Looks like a fun class. I hope I can do the next one!
Leave it to a teacher to have class clowns for children.
