Fun and games...

We went to check out an indoor kids play area today and had an awesome time. My Mom (aka my assistant without whom my adventures would be limited) came with us of course:) The day went off without a hitch except for 2 things. 1...the amount of traffic on the way there that turned a 40 minute ride into a little over an hour. 2...An adorable little girl I like to call Leggo my Legos. She was quite the possessive 3 year(ish) old and without her Mommy in sight was enjoying appointing herself boss of Camryn. As a Pre-K teacher I am fully aware of this age group and wasn't really shocked per se, but she did drive me nuts I can't lie. Long story short she sort of took charge of the Lego table and was simply not cool with the fact that C wanted to play, too. Thankfully, C is young enough not to care, so we moved on. Oh how this moment reminded me how much fun life will be when I have not one, but two 3 year olds in my house at once!

There were a few areas for pretend play set up...a Vet's office, Market, Dance School and Post Office. The Market was without a doubt the hit with my two. There was all kinds of pretend food and kid sized shopping carts that proved to be tons of fun for kids their age. This is where we spent a lot of our time. We also played in the toddler area (which was nice since it was enclosed by a gate) and in the arcade.
And...success! Camryn finally gets to touch the Legos:)

That place looks so fun. My parents live up that way so I might go check it out on a weekend--although it might be too crowded for my liking. Sorry about the bossy 3 yo! Looks like they had a blast.

They look like they had a GREAT time. I want to check that place out too. I'll have to talk Sal into taking a day off for it!

This place was definitely worth the trip! Gavin and Camryn were able to run and play to their hearts content without hearing the famous "no" word. In Liz's words, they had a blast. Christa, I love your "Leggo my Leggos" comment.
